We´ve been to the theatre
Zámerom autorov bolo oboznámiť žiakov s tromi legendami z histórie Veľkej Británie: King Arthur, Robin Hood a Beowulf príťažlivým spôsobom prostredníctvom divadelného predstavenia.

The play was amazing and I did not get bored at all while watching it. It told us about three big stories King Arthur, Robin Hood and Beowulf. All the heroes were brave and wanted to do the right thing. King Arthur established the round table, so everyone had an equal place. Robin Hood was so kind and brave because he helped poor people. And Beowulf was very strong and brave because he killed a lot of monsters. I think the play was about showing that being a hero is not only about fighting, but also about helping others and being kind.

We have recently watched three classic stories performed on the stage, and each of them has had its own charm. First we saw the story of King Arthur. It was about a guy who had to pull a sword out of a stone to become a king. He did it easily because he was the right person to become the king. He married Guinevere, and she became the queen. The second story was about Robin Hood. This was my favourite. Little John was a guy who became a member of Robin Hood´s band. He helped the poor and taught us that being polite changes a lot in our lives. The story about Beowulf was the last one. It was about a strong hero Beowulf who saved a kingdom from a monster Grendel that ate the king´s men. He then became a king and ruled fairly with power. Three stories taught us kindness, being polite and that having justice is important. I honestly really liked the whole play. It was performed really well.

The play was very inspiring. I have learned a lot about old English legends. The acting performance of all actors was on a high level and the props very pretty accurate. The play managed to capture all the important parts from the legends, while still being short enough to fit in all three legends into one play. I recommend the play for those who want to learn about the legends from British history.
Samuel Kyndl, kvarta A
I enjoyed being at the theatre a lot. I like how the script was written. The costumes were great and the props as well. The music fit in the particular scenes well. It was really entertaining. I have learned great stories of British history in a funny way. I would visit a performance like this again.
